Tony was the oldest of us cousins, and I’m the youngest, born 17 years after Tony. We had also moved away from Essex by they time I was two. So my main memories of Tony are seeing his photo at Auntie Ev’s when we visited and hearing the family news via her regular phone calls to my parents. There would have been some family get togethers, but I would have been too young and shy to say more than hello! It has been great to fill in some of the years from the photos and memories here - thanks Marianne. I’m sorry that we only really met properly at family funerals a few years ago, and sorry we won’t get to do something more fun. We’ll miss you. Pauline xxx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
