What’s for lunch?

Tony always liked to walk at lunchtime.  He explored wherever he worked. He walked all over Hackney when he worked there and would also make his way to meet me at Newham council. When he worked in Colchester he was known for his walking. However, the tricky thing about the lunchtime walk was what to have for lunch and when to eat it. When he was at Anglian Water i used to make him lunches of pasties, quiches, salads, nut loaves etc. They were always a source of comment in the office with his colleagues constantly wanting to know what he was having that day.  From time to time his fellows would ask if i could make extra for them. Invariably the lunch was eaten during the morning so that his walk was uninterrupted by the need for food. He just enjoyed the walk.
